Oleala Boxers (pronounced Ol-E-Ah-La) is a small Australian Kennel established in 2003 after Karen Jensen of Ukat Boxers joined forces with her sister Pam Hoole of Gefleckt German Shorthaired Pointers. Since then there have been many developments and 2009 saw the first litter of bobtail Boxers arrive and then in 2011 Pam had her first litter of Havanese and Oleala Havanese was born.

All of our Boxers are carefully selected for quality and temperament and are thoroughly health tested. Due to the ban on tail docking, all litters from Oleala Boxers will be from bobtail lines.

We only very occasionally have boxer puppies for sale to approved homes so check the Puppies page for current availability and information on upcoming litters.

All Oleala Boxers reside with Karen where they are first and foremost much loved (and spoiled) family pets. Oleala Boxers enjoy the benefits of sleeping on the bed, sitting on the lounge (when they're not being lap dogs) and believing that they are actually human! Oleala puppies are also brought up in the same environment and are constantly surrounded by human contact.

Karen began showing dogs since 1998, starting with two beautiful bitches from Rosina Olifent-Brace (Sjecoin Boxers). Unfortunately the first Edwina (Sjecoin Ruby Tuesday) did not make it as a show dog but did produce the one and only litter for Ukat Boxers.

Oleala Boxers really began with the two outstanding bitches, Bobby (Ch Sjecoin Heart Stealer) and Georgie (Ch Taratan She Is A Lady). Every Boxer bred by Oleala trace back to these two beautiful girls.

A new era began at Oleala in August 2009 with the birth of our first litter of Bobtail Boxers. Pickles (Aust Ch Oleala Danger Mouse) produced 8 babies to the gorgeous plain bobtail boy, Thasrite Back To Basixs. Unfortunately only 6 puppies survived and of those only 2 were bobtails. Oleala retained both puppies, a red & white bitch, Oleala Eat Ya Heart Out and a dark brindle & white bitch, Aust Ch Oleala Eat Your Words. Due to the introduction of the tail docking ban all Boxers bred by Oleala will be from bobtail lines. Karen has also shown and had success with other breeds, most notably Jed the Bluetick Coonhound and Bear the Schipperke. Jed (Ch Huron Blue Rapture) was the first and only Championship show Best in Group winning Bluetick Coonhound in Australia. Unfortunately Jed passed away in 2003 after being bitten by a snake.

After gaining his championship Bear went to live with Lois Caddy introducing her to not only the joys of owning a Schipp but also the joys of dog showing. He has since gone on to give Lois many notable show wins as well as producing some outstanding puppies.
